Established in Bloemfontein in 2006 the club has established a reputation as an extremely competitive and successful swimming club provincially and nationally and boasts many swimmers and athletes that have and continue to perform nationally and internationally.
Neptune Aquatics offers Water Safety, Learn to Swim, Stroke Development, Masters, Squad and Multi Sport training programs.
We have the best available training venues in Bloemfontein with two indoor heated training facilities in Virgin Active and an outdoor training facility at Oranje School for summer squad training.
Neptune Aquatics has recently expanded to Cape Town and now has two indoor heated training facilities one at Curro Independent School, Century City and the other at Virgin Active, Century City Cape Town.
Neptune Aquatics have celebrated tremendous success over the years with our various focused squads.
Neptune swimmers have excelled in the pool and competed nationally at all levels producing numerous SA Schools swimmers and champions, 3 SA champions, SA schools Victor Ludorum and a youth Olympian.
The Neptune swim team have contributed the bulk of the FSA team the past 10 years and have in the process produced 3 SA age group medalist 2 of which were age group champions. 5 Of our Open Water swimmers have in the past 4 years been selected and participated for SA internationally. Our swimmers boost African titles and second place finishes in the 3 and 5 KM open water events as well as a further 3 International medals.
The diversity of our program has ensure we have had tremendous success with our athletes in a variety of sorting codes in which swimming plays an integral part. The sport involved are Triathlon, Biathlon, Biathlete and Still water lifesaving. The diversity of our athletes has seen then achieve on the national and international stage the past 5 years with 3 winning the Victor and Victrix titles at the Still water lifesaving championships with 3 been selected to represent SA At international competitions. We boost a triathlon SA and African champion who has represented SA at the World Champs and Youth Olympic and in the Biathlon we have no fewer than 12 SA representative the past 5 years with 1 Triple world champion and another World champion in 2019.
We are extremely happy with the success we have achieved with our school program and boost 6 Free Sate schools championship titles the past 10 years as well as 5 top 3 finishes and 2 SA titles in the all-girls SA top ten championship the 8 years.
